What if I need to cancel service?
With our 100% Risk-Free Guarantee, as a new Consumer Cellular customer, if you're not completely satisfied with our wireless service, within 30 days of activation (data use limited to 500MB), simply cancel and pay nothing except for any third-party charges and device upgrade fees. It's completely hassle-free! Monthly service charges and network activation fees are credited back to your payment method when you cancel your service within the risk-free guarantee period. We’ll even send you a mailing label so you can ship the phone back for free. Once your phone is received, you can expect a credit to post to your credit card account within 10 business days.
For certain active member affiliations, like AARP and USAA, new Consumer Cellular customers receive an extended 45-day risk-free guarantee period.
If you are outside of the 30 days or over 500MB of data, you can still cancel your service at any time. You will continue to have access to your services until the end of your billing cycle, unless you transfer the number for your service to a different carrier prior to the end of the billing cycle.
Important reminders:
- We will not prorate or refund the monthly charges on your final invoice.
- If you have a remaining EasyPay balance that amount will be invoice on your final invoice and payment will be due on your invoice due date.
