How do I get started with my Apple Watch?

To pair and setup your Apple Watch you will need the following:

• Apple watch
• Apple iPhone
• iPhone passcode
• Apple ID and password
• Consumer Cellular My Account username and password

Initial Setup & Pairing of your Apple Watch

1. Turn on the Apple Watch by pressing and holding the button on the lower right side
2. Hold the Apple Watch close to the iPhone. Wait for the "Use your iPhone to setup this Apple Watch" message to appear on the iPhone screen, and then tap Continue. When prompted, tap "Set Up for Myself".
   • Note: If asked, update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
3. Tap "Set Up as New Apple Watch"
   • Note: If asked, update the Apple Watch to the latest version of watchOS.
4. Hold the iPhone over the watch face in the viewfinder on the iPhone. Wait for a message to say that the Apple Watch is paired.

Setup your preferences

1. Choose which wrist to wear your Apple Watch on, then tab Continue. Read the Terms and Conditions and tab Agree.
2. Apple Watch passcode (optional)
3. Select the preferred text size and whether to use bold text.
4. Personalized Fitness and Health
5. Setup Activity Tracking
6. Workout Route Tracking
   
7. Setup notifications

Setup of your cellular plan

1. Register or login to your Consumer Cellular My Account
2. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
   • Select cellular
   • Click setup cellular
3. Enter your Consumer Cellular account login and password then click SIGN IN.
   • You must log in to your account using the phone number of the iPhone you are pairing your watch to.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts to continue with setup
5. Review the Terms and Conditions
   • Enter emergency information and continue
6. Select Add Watch
   • Note, it may take a few minutes for your phone and watch to complete setup.
   • When complete you will see "Cellular is Ready"
   • Congratulations! Your Apple Watch is now ready to use.
