Consumer Cellular SIM Card Overview

We make it easy for you to connect a device you already own to Consumer Cellular service. Your phone will either need a Consumer Cellular SIM card or an eSIM. To be activated on our service, your phone must be unlocked by your previous carrier, and be compatible with GSM network technology.

If your device needs a physical SIM card, the ones we provide most commonly work with phones used on AT&T service. Inserting and activating a physical SIM card is quick and easy, there are no activation fees. If your device needs an eSIM there will be a QR code provided, that once scanned will take you through the steps to activate your phone.
