America’s Best Midsize Employers for 2023
For the third year in a row Consumer Cellular has earned a place on the Forbes list for America’s Best Midsize Employers. Forbes, which partnered with Statista to generate this year’s list, conducted outreach to 45,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. Factors that survey respondents were asked to consider included workplace culture, virtual as well as on-site benefits, and efforts around diversity and inclusion.
Best Customer Service Companies 2020
Consumer Cellular was recognized for providing “America’s Best Customer Service” among mobile carriers in Newsweek’s Best Customer Service Companies 2020 ratings. The results are based on a nationwide survey encompassing 480 companies in 160 retail categories. Consumer Cellular earned an overall score of 8.69 on a 10-point rating scale.
A- or Higer Rating from the Better Business Bureua Since 1999
Further demonstrating its commitment to customer satisfaction, Consumer Cellular has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 1999, continually earning a rating of A+ or A-.
One of Oregon's 100 Fastest Growing Companies 2016
The Portland Business Journal honored Consumer Cellular in 2016 by placing the company on its annual list of Oregon's 100 Fastest-Growing Companies. This was the seventh consecutive year Consumer Cellular earned a spot among Oregon's top performers.
One of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies
Consumer Cellular is regularly listed as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc. Magazine, which has published its annual Inc. 5000 rankings since 2007.
Favorite Non-Contract Wireless Company 2018
In June 2018, a consumer survey conducted by the nationwide customer experience firm Market Force Information named Consumer Cellular the favorite wireless cellphone carrier among non-contract providers for the third year in a row. Carriers were ranked in multiple categories to determine customer satisfaction and loyalty. Consumer Cellular came out on top for best value, best coverage, fewest dropped calls, easiest to change plan, and best flexibility, among others.
